Hyundai Recalling 65,000 Vehicles

January 4, 2010 (by Horatio Algren) According to reports the vehicle maker Hyundai is recalling over 65,000 vehicles that are believed to have wiring issues that affect the passenger side airbags to not deploy during an accident.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration safety bulletin the recall includes Hyundai vehicles between the years of 2006 and 2009 and amounts to approximately 65,226 vehicles.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration there is an increased risk of injury to the passenger should the air bag not deploy and in these models it is possible the wiring harness for the right front seatbelt tension sensor becomes damaged from repeated use. This damage to the wiring harness can cause the airbag not to deploy.

This recall includes Hyundai vehicles like the Azera sedan, for which recalls will begin in February 2010.  If you were injured due to a defective Hyundai, contact Ehline Law, Injury Lawyer PC.  888-400-9721.
