Woman Hospitalized With Head Injuries After Accident

November 4, 2009 (by Horatio Algren) According to reports a woman that was struck by a vehicle was hospitalized after the accident with head injuries.

The accident according to authorities occurred prior to 10:00 p.m. in the vicinity the intersection at Harvard Avenue and Irvine Center Drive, while the woman was crossing Irvine Center Drive.

The vehicle that struck the woman was a Lexus ES 350 sedan that was traveling westbound and according to authorities the cause of the collision has not been determined.

The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with head injuries and her condition has not been released at this time.
