Woman Killed In Early Morning I-5 Crash
August 30, 2009 - According to reports a woman was killed in an early morning crash on the I-5 and 405 Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol a 22 year old Capistrano Beach woman was killed in an accident in the vicinity of Irvine at approximately 3:47 a.m. Sunday morning.
The woman was identified as Brittany Yost, age 22 according to the Orange County Coroner’s Office, and was a resident of Capistrano Beach.
The accident occurred when the vehicle Yost was driving struck a guardrail and rolled over in the southbound I-5 at the 405 Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol more details about the crash could not be provided until the accident has been investigated.
The lanes of the I-5 southbound lanes were blocked due to the fatal accident for over 30 minutes in the vicinity of the 405 Freeway.
