Ehline Law wants people to be aware of the Food and Drug Administration warning that has been issued concerning Zicam and the danger three of their products pose if used. The FDA reported that after receiving as many as 130 reports of the loss of sense of smell, they have issued a warning that these Zicam products should not be used. If they are presently being used, they should be discontinued. The products in the warning issued are:

• Zicam Cold Remedy Swabs (20 swabs, 67250-003-21)


• Zicam Cold Remedy Swabs Kids Size (20 swabs, NDC 67250-003-21)

These products are regularly sold in retail stores and pharmacies, and can be found on the Internet. The FDA has also issued a warning letter to the makers of Zicam, Matrixx Initiatives that the products cannot be sold without FDA approval.
