Nick Adenhart Killed in Hit and Run Collision

According to reports Angels rookie pitcher was killed, along with three others in a Fullerton Crash.

According to car accident lawyers in Fullerton, and the police the crash occurred at approximately 12: 20 a.m. in the vicinity of East Orangethorpe Avenue and Lemon Street, when a mini van ran the red light colliding with the vehicle Adenhart was traveling in.

Adenhart age 22 had earlier in the evening pitched a six-inning shutout for the Angels, the vehicle he was in according to police was a silver Mitsubishi, along with three other people. The driver has been identified as Adenhart’s 20 year old girlfriend, Courtney Frances Stewart and a 27 year old man were both pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. This wrongful death tragedy took place today amid a string of hit and run accidents in California.

Adenhart and another passenger identified as Jon White were transported to UCI Medical Center, where after under going surgery Adenhart died. White is listed in critical condition according to reports.

The driver of the mini van has been identified as Andrew Gallo age 22 who fled the scene and was arrested approximately a mile away from the scene of the crash according to police. Gallo is also suspected of driving under the influence and according to reports his license was suspended for a previous conviction for DUI.
