Highway 101 Motorcycle Accident Leaves Woman In Critical Condition

According to reports by Motorcycle injury lawyers in California, a Highway 101 accident occurred due to an unsafe lane change according to California Highway Patrol causing a motorcycle to collide with another vehicle.


The California Highway Patrol reported a driver that made an unsafe lane change caused a motorcycle to collide with another vehicle at approximately 10:00 a.m.

Saturday. When the driver made the unsafe lane change it cause the rider of the
motorcycle to lose control of the bike swerving into another lane of traffic
where it collided with the other vehicle.


According to the California Highway Patrol, the vehicle that caused the crash did not stop after the motorcycle and the vehicle and the other lane collided.  The rider on the motorcycle was identified as Eric Lent who sustained minor injuries, his passenger McKaye Lent sustained major injuries and both were transported to Saint Joseph's Hospital. 

The driver of vehicle the motorcycle collided with, may also been injured, though no information has been released about the driver.  The accident according to the California Highway Patrol is still under investigation.
