Camarillo Airplane Crash in an Orchard

A small plane that left the Camarillo Airport on Friday evening at approximately 7 pm and prior to making it to the scheduled designation it crash landed.
According to reports a spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration Ian Gregor stated that the pilot of the private plane reported having engine trouble after take off.
After reporting the mechanical problems the pilot had to land the disabled plane in an orchard that is approximately a half-mile south of Highway 126, in the area near to Lake Piru. This location is in rural Ventura County where the orchard is that the plane went down.
The pilot and passengers were able to disembark the plane without any help and reportedly were uninjured, in total reports are that there were three people aboard the small plane. According to reports they were transported to the hospital as a precaution even though there were no reported injuries.
There is no information if the Federal Aviation Administration or any other organizations will be doing an investigation into what the mechanical difficulties were that led to the downing of the small aircraft.
