Palmdale School Bus v. SUV Involving Injuries
PALMDALE, Calif. ó 1-22-08Palmdale school bus crash accident attorneys report that a school bus in Palmdale, California was struck this morning which has resulted in as many as 10 people injured, many of them students.
The school bus carrying the students was struck by a sport utility vehicle which then sheared off a fire hydrant around 8:40 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Inspector Ron Haralson of the Los Angeles Fire Department stated that out of the 10 people who were injured, nine of them had minor to moderate injuries and one had to be taken to the hospital.
The Palmdale school district further reported that students were injured as well as the driver of the school bus.
At the time of the accident, the students were in route to the Los Amigos magnet school. The Los Amigos school enrolls students from kindergarten through the eighth grade.
