Rain and Car Accidents

When it rains in California there are times it does not just water nature, it also causes road closures and this is what happened during the current band of storms. Rain closed coastal roads yesterday in several places according to reports.

Some of the highways that were closed in certain places were Highway 41; Highway 166 East; Highway 198; Highway 35 and Highway 1. With rains as heavy as California has seen the parts of these highways that were closed were due to hazardous flooding that would cause dangerous driving conditions for drivers in and already dangerous driving situation on the highways.

Rains such as the ones that have been present in California along with winter conditions in some parts of the state will help the accident statistics for the month, leaving twisted metal and injuries in its path. Along with tempers rising while making the daily commute during the rainy traffic clogged highways and freeways and their detours.
