U.S. Supreme Court Justice Breyer Robbed By Armed Thief at Vacation Home

February 13, 2012 – According to reports U.S. Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer was robbed in his Caribbean vacation home.

According to court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg, 73 year old Court Justice Steven Breyer , his wife Joanna and guests were confronted by an armed robber on Thursday at approximately 9:00 p.m. eastern standard time in their vacation home.

The robber reportedly had a machete and got away with approximately $1,000 and Arberg said no one was injured in during the robbery. Justice Breyer’s vacation home is located on the Caribbean island of Nevis in the West Indies, Arberg said and robbery was reported to the local authorities.

The robbery victims included Breyer, his wife Joanna and two guests that were at the vacation home at the time of the armed robbery.
