SUV Hit by Another Vehicle Leads to the Rescue Crews Having to Cut the Roof Off

February 7, 2012 – According to reports an SUV that was involved in a crash resulted in the roof having to be cut off to get a woman that was trapped out of the vehicle.

According to Buena Park Police Officer Larry Hainley the accident took place in the 8400 block of Whitaker Street in the vicinity of Dale Street in Buena Vista. The accident occurred when the driver of an Infinity G 25 sedan pulled out of an apartment complex and crashed into a silver Infinity QX4 SUV that was traveling eastbound.

The impact of the crash caused the SUV to roll on to its side and firefighter responding to the scene of the crash had to cut the roof of the vehicle off to extract the driver, officer Hainley said. The driver was identified as a woman was injured in the crash, according to emergency rescue personnel. The extent of her injuries were not reported.
