Driver Fleeing the Scene of a Crash Involved in Second Crash—Six People Injured
February 6, 2012 – According to reports a driver that was fleeing the scene of a collision, involved in second collision causing six people to be injured. According to authorities the accident occurred at approximately 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of De Soto Avenue and Ventura Boulevard in Woodland Hills, causing six people to be injured.
After being involved in a collision the driver left the scene and was involved in a second accident a short time later on the same road. Authorities said that six people were injured, with one being listed in critical condition and the hit and run driver being injured and transported to an area hospital for treatment. According to Isabel Banuelos a witness, the driver of a red convertible was traveling eastbound and driving erratically when the driver cut her off and then smashing into a white van on Ventura Boulevard.
